Life Lines – Drawing Painting Sculpting

Life Lines – Drawing, Painting, Sculpting £14 per session or a block of 4 sessions for £50 This workshop offers a supportive space to explore your creativity and personal artistic voice. Each participant will work in the medium of their choosing. Everyone, from complete beginner to experienced artist are welcome to draw, paint, sculpt and work in any other medium. Easels, drawing boards, small tables and stools are available for your use; please bring your own materials and any other clean up materials your work may demand. Each session includes two hours of working from a live model, emphasising long poses and sustained focus on ideas. The final 30 minutes will be devoted to relaxed group sharing and discussion of each other's work, offering a chance to reflect and receive constructive feedback. Participants are encouraged to use these sessions to identify the art form they most wish to pursue and develop it through constructive dialogue with each other, building on ideas and developing artistic skills week after week. The workshop is facilitated by Timmy Aziz, who will work alongside participants and guide group discussions. Timmy began life drawing in his teens at the Ruskin School of Art in Oxford. He is an architect and designer with over 20 years of experience teaching drawing, and believes that studying the live model is a vital element for artists and designers alike.
