Skill Sharing: Creating Mosaics
A FREE Brook Arts Hub demonstration by Artist Robert Williams of a simple way to create mosaics
Wednesday 22nd July: 7-8.30pm
All are welcome to a free demonstration regarding how to create simple mosaics, by hand, using recycled and painted glass. The session will include: the wider context of mosaic creation, the practice of cutting glass safely, securing tesserae to a board, clues about local mosaic workshops, the tools needed and the costs involved.
The demonstration will be illustrated using work created for Robert's last project - Not Just Playing (2025) - which explored the dynamics and constraints of child development.
