Gather round Studio MEAD’s extraordinary 3.8 metre long textile map for a 55 minute tour of the world famous and much loved River Avon.
From its source in Northamptonshire to its union with the Severn at Tewkesbury, your friendly guide will float you through centuries of history, folklore and wildlife. You will encounter remarkable characters and discover unexpected stories, as well as glimpsing moments of everyday river life.
This beautiful and witty piece of documentary storytelling promises to enrich your appreciation of this fascinating river. Afterwards, we invite you to explore the beautiful map up close.
