Brook Arts Hub is excited to announce our first Art Talk with managing editor of Returning Heritage Lewis McNaught: Should We Return Colonial Loot?


Are you in favour of restitution or retention? In this illustrated talk you’ll hear the case both for and against the return of ceremonial, spiritual and domestic objects in Britain's national and regional museums, acquired during the colonial era by force, theft or against the will of their owners.


Then you have the chance to vote whether a selection of these objects - all currently the subject of appeals for repatriation - should be returned to their country or community of origin. Is your mind made up or will you change your mind when presented with the evidence?
