Service Description
Craft elegant, everlasting flowers with tutor Anne Solomon of AS Craftwork. Bring the beauty of the garden indoors with this hands-on sculptural workshop. You will learn the art of wire-weaving to create stunning 3D blooms inspired by the architectural shapes of sunflowers, echinacea, dandelions and lavender. Standing an impressive 60–70cm tall, these unique wire sculptures make a sophisticated statement in any vase and a lasting alternative to fresh flowers. You will master different weights of wire and specialist tools whilst learning specific techniques to mimic the delicate textures of your favourite garden plants. Develop your own creative "botanical signature" under expert guidance. What’s included: Full Kit: All tools and materials are provided. Refreshments: Tea, coffee and delicious cake while you create. Details: Suitability: Designed for ages 18+ (please inquire for younger crafters). Skill Level: Beginners and seasoned crafters are all welcome! Nimble fingers are helpful with the fine wire.
