Draw and Paint Flowers in Anne Hathaway's Garden with an Artist from the Brook This workshop is a unique opportunity to spend time in the beautiful grounds of Anne Hathaway's Cottage and observe, draw and paint the wealth of flowers, plants and herbs kept there. The workshop will take place outside, with the option to finish your work inside at Brook Arts Hub, right next door to Anne Hathaway's Cottage. Portable stools will be provided and participants are encouraged to bring their own materials including sketching paper, watercolour paper, pencils, brushes and watercolours. Basic materials can be provided if necessary. The sessions are guided by different artists from Brook Arts Hub, who specialise in drawing and painting flowers, plants and herbs using simple drawing and painting techniques. Composition, use of pencils and colour mixing will be covered during the workshop. Beginners in drawing and using watercolours are encouraged to join the sessions, as well as more experienced artists. Everyone is welcome to join this relaxed and informal workshop.
