
Introduction to the Art of Wirework

Discover the art of wirework in this relaxing and creative workshop led by local tutor, Anne from AS Craftwork. Perfect for beginners, this class introduces you to the beauty of working with fine, flexible black wire to create an 8” posy of delicate leaves and flowers. You can even add a personal touch by including your favourite word or name. By the end of the session, you'll have a one-of-a-kind creation to cherish—perfect for a small vase, a unique detachable greeting card, or a pretty display in a boxframe. What’s included: Full Kit: All tools and materials are provided. Refreshments: Tea, coffee and delicious cake while you create. Details: Suitability: Designed for ages 18+ (please inquire for younger crafters). Skill Level: Beginners and seasoned crafters are all welcome! Nimble fingers are helpful with the fine wire. Note: This workshop involves close-up work so good dexterity and eyesight are recommended. Date: Sat 22 August 2026 Time: 10am - 12noon (2 hours) Cost: £40 Private group bookings are also available.
