Basket Weaving: Asymmetric Gathering Basket | Friday 16 October | 10:00 - 17:00 | Clare Shilvock Join Clare Shilvock from Warwickshire Willow to learn traditional basket making skills with a contemporary twist. £105 Adults only. Minimum class size 4. Maximum 8 This workshop is suitable for beginners or people who have done some willow weaving before. Because willow bark contains salicin, this workshop is not suitable for those who are allergic or sensitive to salicylates (such as aspirin). All materials, tuition, use of tools and lights refreshments are included. Please bring glasses (if you need them for close-up work). Wear old clothes (or bring an apron) and covered, flat shoes (no sandals or open toes).
