Live Show: Exit Pursued by a Bard

Join us at Brook Arts Hub for an exceptional evening with distinguished RSC actor Christopher Saul, performing his one-man show Exit Pursued by a Bard.

The play takes the audience along a jobbing actor’s meandering journey through a landscape of Shakespearean productions played out somewhere, sometime, somehow, over the past sixty years.

Action: an actor enters, with a mug of tea, dragging a suitcase behind him. He lifts the suitcase onto a chair, takes off his jacket and carefully zips open the case. Inside, texts of several Shakespeare plays are revealed. Dialogue begins. The play commences.
