Under the Big Tree – A 1-Day Autumn Holiday Workshop for children aged 6-11 with teacher Lucy James. Welcome to the magical world of trees, where every leaf, root and branch tells a story! In this exciting sensory workshop, we'll explore the textures, colours, patterns and shapes in trees, using a range of exciting materials and techniques. Get ready for a day of bug hunts, natural sculpture, painting and drawing as we immerse ourselves in the wonders of the woodland! This Autumn holiday workshop is taught by Lucy James, who's a writer, coach, meditation teacher and self-taught artist with fifteen years of ongoing experience as a primary school teacher. Her passion is helping people of all ages discover and explore the abundance of metaphors in Nature, and reconnect with the rhythms and cycles of the seasons. Lucy loves supporting others to embrace the creative process as a path to self-awareness, expression and joy. Price: £30. All materials are included but please bring lunch and drinks. Soft drinks and biscuits are included. Note: All of our art tutors and staff at Brook Arts Hub are DBS checked so parents/carers can leave their children for the duration of the workshop.
