Join us at Brook Arts Hub for our next Art Talk: New Horizons – Art from South Korea, delivered by Coventry based artist James Robinson.

James is an artist and art teacher influenced by techniques and processes from all over the world. Fifteen years ago, he was lucky enough to get a posting in Asia’s first Global Education City on the tiny South Korean island of Jeju. What he discovered while he was in the Far East, especially in its art galleries, schools and colleges blew his mind!

Contemporary Art from South Korea is astonishing: it’s surprising, beautiful, skilful and thought-provoking, and importantly it has much to teach us about the ways we can choose to develop our own work and ideas, here in Europe.

James will take you with him on that journey and share the fascinating and intriguing artwork he was lucky enough to find and be amazed…
