Wire Spring Flowers
Friday 20 February | 10:00 - 14:00 | Anne Solomon
Class description
Join tutor Anne Solomon of AS Craftwork for a hands-on workshop where you will learn how to craft beautiful 3-D wire Spring flowers, inspired by the tulip, daffodil and bluebell. Standing approx 50cm tall, your unique creations will look stunning in a vase and add real interest to any room. You will have the choice to create either a mixed vase or to make a vase full of the same flower. (If the latter, please notify Anne in advance.) Suitable for those with nimble fingers and some experience of practical crafts, you will learn how to use various weights of flexible black wire, different tools and techniques to develop your own botanical style. Includes all tools and materials along with tea, coffee and cake. The workshop is designed for adults but if you wish to bring an older teenager, please get in touch as we’d love to accommodate you if we can. If you have any queries about the workshop, please contact Anne at ascraftwork@gmail.com. The Brook Arts Hub is fully accessible with easy parking and located in Shottery (next door to Anne Hathaway’s Cottage). Feel free to bring your own packed lunch or pop across to The Garden Cafe (opposite) or The Bell Pub (5-minute walk) afterwards.
