Wire Leaf Wall Hanging
Sunday 22 June | 10:00 - 13:00 | Anne Solomon
Class description
Join tutor Anne Solomon for a creative and enjoyable workshop where you'll learn how to craft a stunning 2-D wire leaf wall hanging. Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of maple, oak and ash leaves, you’ll attach your designs to a willow branch, creating a piece approximately 13 inches tall that will make a striking addition to any wall. Alternatively, you can take your individual leaves home and use them to embellish gift cards or display them in a box frame. This workshop is perfect for both beginners and those with some experience, as you'll learn how to work with various leaf templates, wire weights, tools and techniques to create something truly unique. All materials and tools are provided, along with complimentary tea and coffee. The workshop is designed for adults, though if you wish to bring a teenager please contact us in advance to discuss your needs. Good dexterity and eyesight is recommended due to the intricate nature of the work. If you have any queries, please contact Anne at ascraftwork@gmail.com. The Hub is accessible with easy parking and located in Shottery (next door to Anne Hathaway’s Cottage). Either bring your own packed lunch or pop across to The Garden Cafe (opposite) or The Bell (5-minute walk) afterwards, or explore the many sights that Stratford town has to offer. Date: Sunday 22 June 2025 Time: 10am - 1pm (3 hours) Cost: £55 You bring: packed lunch if you wish.
