We’ll start with a bug hunt and draw the tiny creatures we find, then use recycled materials to make our own papier-mâché minibeast sculptures. We will also explore the vibrant colours and intricate patterns of butterflies as inspiration for painting and collage! Day 2: Free To Be Me Come and enjoy a playful art workshop where you can express yourself just as you are! We’ll explore a range of materials including paint, charcoal and pastels to make art in response to music, nature, stories and poems. There are no expectations - just lots of colour, fun and freedom to explore. Let your imagination lead the way! Day 3: Under the Big Tree Welcome to the magical world of trees, where every leaf, root and branch tells a story! In this exciting sensory workshop, we'll explore the textures, colours, patterns and shapes in trees, using a range of exciting materials and techniques. Get ready for a week of bug hunts, natural sculpture, painting and drawing as we immerse ourselves in the wonders of the woodland! Day 4: Shadows & Shapes Discover the joy of drawing with charcoal as we learn to capture the beauty of nature! We will zoom in and explore the amazing textures, shadows and forms in natural objects such as leaves, shells, fruits and flowers, then use charcoal in different ways to bring them to life. Perfect for young artists looking to improve their technique and learn new ways of drawing! Day 5: Wild Shapes & Magical Patterns Let’s take a closer look at the amazing shapes and patterns all around us in nature! In this creative workshop, we’ll use charcoal, paint and natural objects to make beautiful art inspired by leaves, flowers, trees and more.
