Portrait Day: Manuela Perteghella MP

Join us at Brook Arts Hub on Saturday 25th October, from 11am-4pm, for our first Portrait Day: Manuela Perteghella MP. Manuela, Member of Parliament for Stratford-on-Avon, will model in person. At the end of the session, Manuela will choose her favourite artwork, which can be a painting, a drawing, a sculpture, or a mixed-media piece, which she will purchase from the artist and put on display at the MP constituency office in Rother Street, Stratford. All the other artworks will be on display at Brook Arts Hub for 3 weeks. The portrait session will run from 11am until 3pm, including breaks and refreshments. Please bring your own materials such as paper, card, canvas, pencils, brushes, pastels, paints, clay or other mediums. At Brook Arts Hub we encourage a variety of art forms and experimentation. This is not a taught class, but for anyone who enjoys being creative and creating portraits. No experience is needed, the session is open to all, at all levels. A good portrait is about catching someone’s inner life – and there are no rules for that.
