Observations In Ink - a workshop for GCSE and A level students wanting to enrich and extend their portfolio. Chinese brush-and-ink drawing is one of the oldest crafts in the world and it's also a lot of fun. In this 3 hour workshop, James will teach you how to use different brushes skillfully to observe and record forms, tones, textures and patterns and use these skills to make drawings for and extend your GCSE/A level portfolio. An exciting and accessible bridge between drawing and painting, this class is designed to increase young people's confidence and add depth and quality to their GCSE or A level folios in a fun, fresh way. [targeted at 15-18 year olds but appropriate for 12yrs or older. All materials are included as well as tea/coffee/soft drinks and biscuits.
