Leather Journal Workshop

Join Sharon from Mallory Journals for a creative morning learning to make a beautiful Hand Bound A6 size Leather Journal. Sharon uses Italian Leathers and stunning papers bonded to the covers to make her luxury Journals for the last 14 years. She regularly exhibits with Warwickshire Open Studios, Oxfordshire Artweeks, Broadway Arts Festival, Compton Verney and Arts in the Cotswolds, amongst others. Choosing from a selection of inspiring covers you will learn step by step how to cut your cover, make the signatures (booklets) and bind the Journal together! Finishing off with a cord and bead to close and finish your own gorgeous Journal. No previous experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and there will be lots of hands-on tuition. Once you have learned the skills in the workshop your Journal is easily refillable and kits will be available to buy. Please bring cash for those. 6 places available.
