Introduction to the Art of Wirework
Saturday 24 January | 9.30 - 11.30am | Anne Solomon
Class description
Discover the art of wirework in this relaxing and creative workshop led by our local tutor, Anne from AS Craftwork. Perfect for beginners, this class introduces you to the beauty of working with fine, flexible black wire to create an 8” posy of delicate leaves and flowers. You can even add a personal touch by including your favourite word or name. By the end of the session, you'll have a one-of-a-kind creation to cherish—perfect for a small vase, a unique detachable greeting card, or a pretty display in a boxframe. Includes all tools and materials along with tea, coffee and homemade cake. Please note: a good level of dexterity and eyesight is required. Workshop is designed for adults though if you wish to bring anyone younger, please let us know as we would love to include them. Private group sessions for 5 or more can be arranged if this date is unsuitable. Any questions, feel free to contact Anne directly at ascraftwork@gmail.com. The Brook Arts Hub is fully accessible with easy parking and located in Shottery (next door to Anne Hathaway’s Cottage). Enjoy lunch afterwards at The Garden Cafe (opposite) or The Bell (5-minute walk) or explore the many sights that Stratford town has to offer.
